Stop Doing Listing Presentations, Do This Instead

Get More Clients

The Listing Presentation…the thing every real estate agent thinks they need and the thing every seller doesn’t want to sit through when you go over to their house.

I know this goes against everything you are hearing elsewhere, but stop doing listing presentations.

No one likes to be presented to.

It’s the worst.

So, what should you do instead?

Step One: Toss out your listing presentation.

When I threw mine out, I started getting 97% of the listings I met with sellers about.

From using the process I explain in today’s episode, I’ve personally gotten over 200 listings.

Not only did using this three-step listing appointment result in getting almost every listing I interviewed for, but it was a blast to get them because I didn’t have to do any convincing in the appointment, they were already convinced before I showed up.

One of the biggest reasons why is because I gave every seller I met with my “listing presentation” before I meet with them.

I call it my pre-listing package. It’s a 40 page book or e-book that I either drop off at a seller’s home or send in an email two days before our meeting.

It sold them on why they should use me to sell their house before I even walked in the door. That way I could spend the entire time at the appointment getting to know them and how best to help them accomplish their goal.
