Why Real Estate Agents Shouldn’t Spend Money On SEO and What To Do Instead

One of the questions I hear most from real estate agents when I start talking about how important having the right website is when it comes to growing their real estate business is, “What about SEO?”

The reason that’s one of the first questions is because people who are trying to sell real estate agents the newest shiney object are telling us we need to be on the first page of Google when someone types in something like “buying a home in Washington, DC” (or whatever town you live in).

They tell us that is the way to get more clients and then they tell us it’s going to cost hundreds or thousands of dollars a month to make that happen.

Not true.

On today’s episode I’m debunking that myth and others when it comes to the SEO of your website and what to focus on instead.
